Day 3, Tzaneen to Abel Erasmus pass

Day 3 started much later than I wanted to be on the road, but life is what’s happening while you are planning it. Took the R36 out of town towards Lydenburg and it was not a pleasure riding as the road was very busy with cars, taxis, busses, trucks, donkey carts and any type of animal feeding along the road. I was riding parallel to the mountain range heading East most of the day and at last turned South to end the day at the foot of the Abel Erasmus. A long hard day, not easy, but done distance 104.6km, riding time, 04h51m and avg speed 21.5kph
