Cape Town – Day 1

Thursday 13h00, Arrived in CPT, met by Wikus and whisked away to collect race number at the Cape Town/Seapoint World Cup soccer stadium and get that done, not having to venture onto to the CPT parking lots, also known as freeways on Friday. CPT is definitely on of the most beautiful cities in the world, but the rush hour traffic is an absolute nightmare.

Inside Cape Town stadium, Argus race number in hand

Assembled the Kruzer and made sure everything is in order. CPT is in full summer mode 30+c and a very light wind. Friday morning and on the bike to do the test ride, Wikus took me on the very scenic Bottelary road towards Stellenbosch and what a morning to experience the scenery and test the Kruzer.

Life is good, how fortunate can a person be.

Stellenbosch and scenic mountains

That’s it for now……….
